Best Blooms by Farr is run by my mom and I—a mother-daughter duo who share a love of flowers, creativity, and making beautiful arrangements. While we share the same passion, we each bring our own style and perspective to everything we create—and I think that’s a big part of what makes us, us.
I love bringing fresh ideas, current floral trends, unexpected colour combinations, and a little bit of flair to our designs. My mom brings that timeless eye, thoughtful details, and quite literally, a mother’s touch.
Together, we blend the new with the classic, creating florals that feel fresh and current while still having that warmth and timeless beauty we both love.Having two sets of eyes on everything we create means there’s a lot of, “Wait, it needs one more thing,” passing flowers back and forth, changing our minds, laughing, and occasionally disagreeing until we both look at it and know it’s right.

OUR STORY
Best Blooms by Farr started with a love of flowers, a need for a creative outlet, and a family connection that means more to me than I could ever really put into words.
I’ve always loved flowers, but some of my fondest memories are of going to my grandparents’ house and being surrounded by fresh-cut blooms. My grandma always had flowers around, whether they were freshly picked from the garden or sitting in a vase on the table. It was something we both loved, and looking back now, I don’t think I realized just how much those simple moments would eventually mean to me.
After my grandma passed away, my mom and I decided to take our shared love of flowers and creativity and turn it into something of our own. Somewhere between learning, experimenting, creating, and probably buying far too many flowers, Best Blooms by Farr began to grow.
Now, some of my favourite moments happen during the late nights my mom and I spend together in the garage. There are buckets of flowers everywhere, stems and leaves covering the floor, and usually the two of us laughing in the middle of the chaos. We always joke about how much grandma would have loved it—sitting right there with us, surrounded by flowers and mess, probably giving us her opinion on what a bouquet needed next.
I think that’s what makes this business mean so much to me. It was never just about flowers. It became a way for my mom and I to create something together while carrying forward a love that started generations before us.
What began with fresh-cut flowers at my grandparents’ house has somehow turned into a mother’s touch, a daughter’s flair, and a garage full of flowers.
And I have a feeling Grandma would be pretty proud of that.
